At the moment Associate Professor of Research of CSIC in Doñana Biological Station Member of the Directors Committee of the European section of Society for Conservation Biology. His scientific interests as an ecologist include vocalizations of the Antarctic penguins, the space ecology of birds of prey, predictive models in the distribution of species and the use of remote sensing in ecology.
