PhD in Biology from Universidade de Lisboa (Ecology and
Biosystematics), his research deals with acoustic behavior and
structural characteristics of sounds of birds and amphibians.

Currently initiating a study on the evolution of sounds in complex
environments, project developed in association with the Fonoteca
Zoológica and Museu Bocage (Lisboa).
