Mauricio Rivera-Correa is a biologist and doctor in Zoology. He is a professor at the University of Antioquia in Colombia, associate researcher of the Antioquia Herpetological Group and coordinator of the Amphibian Biodiversity Research Seedbed (BIO) at the Eastern Section of the University of Antioquia. His interests focus on biodiversity, evolution and systematics of neotropical amphibians and their direct connection to conservation biology.
